RECOVERY AND REUSE
Cartiera recovers secondary raw materials (leather and fabrics) from the production chains of major brands to transform them into high quality articles: companies choose Cartiera with a view to quality and social responsibility. The possibility of using materials otherwise destined for disposal allows the Cartiera model to reduce the environmental impact of the fashion industry, promoting ethical and responsible consumption.
Since 2019, Cartiera has started a collaboration with IKEA by recovering both ‘discontinued’ sofa covers and covers that customers have brought back to the IKEA store in Bologna. From the creative reuse of these materials, original objects with a unique style have been created.
PRIVATE LABEL
Cartiera produces high quality Made in Italy articles also in cooperation with other companies. Our craftsmen, led by an expert leatherworker and pattern makers from partner companies, have created entire collections on behalf of third parties with important brands, achieving considerable international recognition.

CUSTOMISATION
Cartiera offers companies the possibility of customising the articles in the catalogue with their own logo or company slogan, all made from the highest quality leather recovered in a circular economy perspective.
